so I helped a friend do a video for a fundraiser she was doing to raise money for going to Tanzania and kinda got hooked … here is the video we ended up with using Windows Live Movie Maker so it isn’t ideal but at the end of the day Movie Maker is free … to add a backing track that varied in volume level I had to convert the wmv file using Handbrake to a .mov file and then import into iMovie HD on my mac, which was all faaar to long winded so we didn’t bother.

All this made me want to investigate some professional or at least semi-prof editing software.
